I'm Back!

Haha. Sorry people, I haven't been blogging for quite some time, AGAIN. I know, I know. I really can't find time to churn out a proper post you see, but I made the effort to reply messages on my tissue paper k!

Sooo, what's new huh? I'm waiting for MOE's letter with great excitement. I'm still enjoying my work. I'm still having driving lesson. OMG, my test date is drawing nearer and nearer.

Today! Had a paintball session. But I will prefer it to be called PAIN BALL. It's really quite painful man, lucky for me I only have 1 bruise. On my shoulder blade lol. Thank you CY for such a wonderful activity. Shall have a go at it again soon.

YAYYY

Finally, I received a Congratulations email from MOE regarding its Teaching Award. Thank you MOE, thank you for recognising my talents. Haha. One less worry, a better campus life ahead!

Really a very wonderful day. I have never felt sooo relieved in a very long time. MOE and YOU made it happen, YOU can never imagine how glad I felt when I saw you on bus.

Highlight.of.the.Day

Nothing special. Other than an incident which underlined how much I'm bonded to my students, especially my favourite kid, Joey. I was very sad when I heard and saw her being scolded, even my colleague - C - could tell. I'm sorry if I scared you. I'm really worried about her results that's why.

She's my number 2 worry though, number 1 worry has to be YOU, if you happen to see this. I will be more affected than this if anything bad were to happen to you. Please please never let that happen again.

Moment.of.the.Day

I did a good deed today! Saw a wounded pigeon at a bus stop today, it hopped onto the road! So I used my newspaper to chase it back up onto the footpath, then to a grass patch. Lol, I am like a sheepdog seh. I hope it recovers soon and flies back to its family (=

So far, so good. I want things to go smoothly. I promise to be good forever!

Sleep

Wha shiok! I had been sleep deprived for a few days now, but last night was great. Undisturbed sleep, sufficient rest, great weather.

Recently there is no updates from me because I was busy with some stuff. From now on, when I'm free, I'll pop by and update more often ok? Haha.

I'm quite bothered by work stuff recently. The students obviously like me (ok minus that writing class, I think they must be hating me since Sat's lesson), but I have this feeling that my colleagues (I mean those seniors) rate another teacher, who is new, higher than me. I'm so going to prove that they are wrong, if that's really what they think.

Working later, ALONE. Bored, super bored. Haha.

Fresh.Memory

I screwed up. But I will not screw up again. Seriously, its been long since I felt such disappointment. The last time I had this feeling, was when I failed to score A for Chemistry. That's quite long ago. What is it I screwed up? My creative writing lesson. Stupid thing to teach.

Going to have another writing class tomorrow. I WILL NOT SCREW UP! Wish me luck all.

Went down Yew Tee today for Maths lesson. Not bad luh, at least got this very cute kid in my class. If I get back my previous class better, more responsive.

Aiyoyo, I very scared my Saturday lesson will be taken away from me! I LOVE my P5 and P6 Science classes loh! I want to see them through their PSLE if possible. Don't take them away from me pleaseeee.

Yesterday

Went for my first driving lesson in the circuit. Goodness, its all half clutch position throughout my 1 hr there. Clutch in, clutch out, until my left leg is numb haha. Can't even feel the biting point anymore.

After that went home shower, then headed out for lunch with Chin at AMK. We had this very nice chicken rice from a hawker centre. I also added another item to my lunch. POTATO. Super nice! Bought it from a shop beside PIE KIA, go figure.

Next up, work. Haha. Setting of more practice papers. Saturday will be fun, there will be teaching =D

Anyways, I'm sorry that this blog is sooo dead recently. The main reason is that I'm down with this super irritating sore throat that leads to this super irritating bad cough, resulting in... no mood to blog. Haha. Lucky today I feel alot alot alot better, if not I will start to think I have contracted the 'on the rise' Tuberculosis. Please let me recover totally by tomorrow. I'm starting to miss all the fried food! And I desperately want to run!

So recently it has been work-home, work-home kind of routine. Only occasional outings, for dinner. For e.g. Wendy's birthday on Saturday. Went to Mirama Hotel for Sushi buffet, I think the food there is quite good but I couldn't enjoy many of its selection because of my SORE THROAT!

Work has also been fun, minus the part the students try to bully me. And my dear colleague, tsk tsk. Kept laughing at me while she watched me coach this student in MATHS!

Don't say I never update k, this post is so long. Haha.

Food.For.Thought

I worked on Saturday. Wasn't satisfied with my overall performance that day )= Of the 2 classes I took, I think only 1 class enjoyed my lesson. The other class gave me that "siann" feeling. Was it because of my class "terror"? Or was it because I wasn't myself somehow on that day? I dunno. But I must change things around next week, and get everyone to enjoy the lesson!

Memory.of.the.Day

The saddest day of my life so far has got to be this.

It was the day I got back my Promotional Examinations results. I failed quite badly, and was retained )= I remember standing outside CT room with a group of classmates, trying to figure out any last resort to rectify this crap. Then, I went into the room and talk to Ms Sim. Flashbacks of the moments I spent with my class flashed across my mind. So sad! I cried badly.

Been busy this few days. Today I shall blog on some recent happenings.

280209 (Sat) - Went for tuition early in the morning!! It was SIMPLY FUN! Okay, minus the part I almost lost my voice. I had 2 classes to myself towards the end of the day, both of them have some really cute students ((= some that I can remember are.. Wan Yu, Joey, Celine and Ja Yan (aka Giant, she said it herself!) After that went out with Buddy, Wendy and Nick for MA YOU JI, some lan gaming and chill out at Grapevine.

010309 (Sun) - Soccer day. No kick leh today's opponent. Let's hope next week will be better. Wanted to go out, but thanks to the heavy downpour, plans were cancelled.

Today, work! Almost fell asleep haha! I go watch TV liao byebye!

CURRICULUM WRITING

Super happy man! It feels so great to be doing what I like, even though it's tiring but I enjoy every minute of my job! I think I'm too focused though, must find more time to interact with others. Someone offer me advice on setting questions please, it is really mentally exhausting to churn out questions after questions on your own. Students should treat their teachers nicer seriously, completing a test paper is easier than coming up with one!!!

MY.JOB

Haha, officially started my job today. As a tutor. I made new friends, taught as a teacher assistant, marked my 1st ever composition script and had my own class for a lesson. Things were going at VaVaVoom at work, which suits me fine since I seldom feel sleepy this way. Ohh and something funny is I actually bumped into my colleague on the bus to work, we didn't even realise that until moments later.

After 1 lesson with my own class, they seemed to have accepted me as their tutor, so glad can! Starting they were like zombies, didn't even make a sound. Then, I stole a moment and told them not to be afraid of me, anything feel free to ask, I won't scold people dun worry. It worked. They started asking me questions and become more responsive, they even vyed with each other to answer my questions! Harhar. I hope next week will be a better week. Till then, I will work on my other assignments.

Haha. Finally it's over! Now I am back to my usual lifestyle, no more waking up at 530am, no more nonsense. Somehow it feels like I have just been sacked from my job, and now I am trying my best to find one to replace it. Must get one fast, if not I will have no money to spend soon ))=

Today's a good day! Went back camp for a good reason haha.

Had my first 2 driving lessons recently, it's really quite stress to drive man! Need to check mirrors, blind spots, handle steering wheel, step on pedal(s), engage different gears and manage handbrake. But I'm going persevere and do well, for the sake of my driving license (=

Got to settle some stuff back at camp tomorrow, let's hope it will be my last day there.

Above mentioned together with ORD just around the corner, my mood is simply positive.

But life is never that simple. Just when things are looking great, something bad must happen. Or maybe someone must screw things up. I just hope that this dog / scum will disappear from my life, die / run / abandon us I don't care. Just get out of my life! As someone who gave me nothing but hatred for him, all he does is blame everything and everyone around him for his own pitiful plight, instead on working on a solution to resolve the situation. Don't you people put in any good words for him, or even try to persuade me to change my mind about this scum, because it is the one thing i will never listen to. Period.
